These are pieces from my personal collection that I bought, for myself, in the early 90's. I've arranged this blog like an archaeological dig - with the oldest stuff at the bottom. Check back as I add new postings.

Paleo Points
Type: Wheeler
Provenance: Rosetta, Kentucky on Sinking Creek
Material: brown chert
Size: 1-5/8" x 3/4"
Condition: near perfect. The slight nick above the basal grinding could have happened by during binding.
Comments: Wheelers are a very rare paleo type. This piece has all the right confirmation for the point type including basal grinding and delicate paleo style flaking, plus the basal beveling at the bottom (front and back). It's by far my best paleo piece.
